outstanding post Marco, just checked your website too and I simply dig your style :)
Hi Tommy, you are right about the huge amount of geometry and I agree with you that some details were not necessary but I built this scene for testing FinalRender, I was curios how many istances FR was able to manage with only 2 gb of ram. (but I rendered this image on my new pc)
Interesting. Despite having a HUGE amount of information in the model, it really is not conveyed in the rendering. You have every tile, nook and cranny modeled there, but I think it has ended up being extraneous as the surfaces are rather bleached and dont take advantage of the depth which is possible with the model you have. That said, I can totally appreciate that the detail absent in the render is one of the driving attributes toward creating the 'aged photo' style you have achieved in the final image. Terrific post work. Congrats, a real one of a kind.
Thank you a lot guys! Here is a render without post work and another one where I show you the wire frame. I prefered not use the displacement for the decorations because I was scared to get possible artifacts. Amazing attention to detail!
wow. fantastic work. is it geometry or displase?
Really great look and feel. I like it.
Awesome, any chance of seeing the render without any post work? Would be interesting to see if it works as well.
nice, love the details
Thanks ihabkal :)
I have seen photographs like that in older books in Beirut, and that is amazing work very authentic looking. I think you found a great style for renderings.
Thanks again guys! :)
