Hi Tom, since I cant add comment at your blog I'm doing it here. What kind of material are you thinking to use for the panels for real, not for the render? I like the concept and I'm wondering if I can achieve something similar in my country.
Hi Javier. It's okay. I am glad to see you here. Yes, the blog comments are closed for this article. This is the Kingspan panel (This is not advertising, this is a notification to my friends).

Thank you Macker for your good advice. Out of interest: Does anyone have a good Vray material for KINGSPAN panels?
Thanks ELEVATION for your advices. My client agrees with your opinion but This truck is a catch for a viewer. The old truck is the antithesis of luxury.
I'd lose the dumpy truck driving in front of the mall. I'm sure that your aim is to make the mall look nice, the truck is working against you.
Agreed, I think the rendering looks far better with the relfections on the panels. If you're using VRay you could get a bit clever with the VRayDirt map to apply some subtle dirt around the top/bottom edges of the cladding panels to add that little bit more realism. Though I suggest that this is a technique best used subtly, you don't want your new building looking 20 years old!
Thanks Aleka for the helpful advice.
Excellent! I think it's has been so much improved
At this moment I add bevels between the panels. Thanks
That's the reason to be in this forum I think! Maybe you could try to add some glossy reflect on the surface and some bevels between the color panels. One more thing is the interior that looks so dark.
Thanks Aleka for reply. This is a very important observation for me.
Very nice render! Maybe the color panels looks a little flat, like it's was painted. But maybe is just like that in the real life.
