Macaroons! Laduree inspired?
wooooow just a super render... it looks very realistic... congratulations.
Unbelievable. ....they look like real photos. Look at the detail...Just perfect.
As always you are a master. There is absolutely no doubt about that. A few thins that could be improved in the images.... - The 2 pillows on the left side of the couch are to kinked on the bottom left corner. I don't feel they would kink like that regardless if they were new or old. - The material on the roses stems and pettles are flat. At least they seem like it to me. - 4th image (Close Up) ..the ribbon is stiff.' I think it needs a little shape in it 'section." It is the only thing that gives this image away as CG instead of reality. - Last image.. the whicker feels to rigid and planar. I think that in reality whicker would show a little more character than whatit is showing here. These are just gut reactions. Overall the series of images are awesome.
Thanks for the kind feedback, guys. Very much appreciated. ABK: Yes, I'm based in Berlin. Hao La: You're right, some of these tend to look more like interior decoration than architecture shots. I had done so many shots of the empty loft, though, that I wanted to give these series a more lived-in look.
Ridiculously good. No crits at all in any of the images, possibly the best I have seen!
Very STUNNING renders!... Absolutely Well Done!...
The images are nice and clean but it feel like furniture's showing rendering rather than the "Chicago loft" architect itself. Furniture is nice but the art works need some emotions, stories so it feels complete and memorable. Cheer.
Hi Bertrand, This work is phenomenal. Really inspiring stuff. Thanks. Are you working for a studio in Berlin? Antony
Very cool! thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the kind feedback, folks, and sorry for taking so long to reply. Inxa: There was quite a bit of post-production done on these shots, especially colour-correction. Some people might say it was overdone. Fran: I'm a big and long-time surreal-structures junkie so I'm particularly glad and flattered that you like these. F10Glen: On all the images but one the DOF was done in-render. I generally find that Vray DOF is fast enough to render and clearly much nicer and more accurate than post-produced DOF. Ryder-SK: That scene did not take very long to set up, maybe two weeks in my spare time, as I had already modelled the empty interior and only modelled about half the furniture specifically for it. The rest were older models of mine I re-used. GezleR: That particular scene is for sale so I would not necessarily upload bits of it here. It would be unfair on those who have bought it already. Covono: This scene was lit with a jpg image of an overcast sky plugged into a VrayDomeLight and with a 3ds Max Direct Light to simulate a slightly shrouded sun.
Fantastic work. As always, like the tones in the picture as they have been photographed with the "shade" option on.
Flawless. I seriously want those whoopie pies.
very nice...:)
Great work Bertrand! How did you achieve your depth of field? Was it rendered in or did you do it in post?
wow everything is perfect.
Incredible work. I would love to know how much time did you spend on this scene.. ? Just rough approximation.
Just love the ambients involved in your pictures Bertrand! Yes because you're not doing 3D, this images are real photos! :D Congratulations for another great work!
WooooooooooooooooooooW . GREAAAAAAAT GREAT GREAT ... i love your scense .. really nice .. may i ask you to Upload your Wall texture here ??? that's really seductive !!
Some people are so tallented, it makes me sick. :P
