House in the woods

This piece is the product of a mix of techniques, first 3dmax2012 and zbrush for the trees, the branches where created with the modelling tools from 3dmax2012. Grass is multiscatter and the grass on the trees is multipainter.
The postproduction is a mix from photoshop and after effects, wich we are using more and more.

We hope you like it!

fantastic image, the small toutches like the fairy dust and the birds make this nearly a master work.

just a thought, is not a house without people like an empty stage?

it is amazing, i like the restrained color palette.

one thing tho, how come we can see the rays coming at an angle in the right half of the image and also a strip of light coming horizontally (at a different angle) in the upper left quadrant?
