Roland, this is a problem that everyone in this field has to deal with. The problem is that your monitor is capable of displaying many more colors than any printer is able to print out. What you need to do is calibrate your monitor and printer so that the color footprint of both of them is more closely related. This is a link to a site that specializes in monitor calibration; once your screen is calibrated your prints will be much closer to what you see on the screen.
