Default copying object refferencing a line object

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows how to clone objects refferencing a line.. I know there is the path constraint, but is there anything else something easier that someone could help me with?

What I am trying to make is a pipe that has several bends with in it, and around that pipe are rings that on center of the pipe.

An help would greatly be appreciated!

How about the spacing tool? I haven't used it enough to know if it will work, but it would be worth a shot.

With Viz, it's under "tools" then "spacing tool". You pick the object you want to space out, then pick the path that you want to space the object along. There are options for "folow", distances, start and finish, etc.

Like I said, I haven't used it a whole lot, so I don't know if it will do what you want it to.
