windows for workstation

This question is similar to one i read earlier but
supposing we have a workstation with 2 amd athlon
.What would it be better to use windows 2000 or windows xp pro?

in a short, windows 2000.
there are no advantages of using windows xp, but some possible problems.

I'm running dual AMDs with XP pro with no probs so far. I still don't say its better than 2k, but it sure does boot much faster.
The good thing is that by picking the platform you are already in the right way.

do that means that 2000 is the sure sollution?

Hi, I've been running winxp pro as well, and haven't had any problem or software incompatobility isues. I always download the MS updates to keep my OS running in top shape. Its just a matter what you prefer at this point in my opinion. -Marc, what kind of problems are you refering to ?

BTW, I also run Atlhon MP's
