Okay. It goes something like this.

Wanted to show:

-Main space from 3.
-Some of the adjacent space.
-Some cross-ventilation stuff to do with those big pivoty rooflights and the external envelope on the commercial floors.

So there's this pigeon that gets separated from the flock when rooflights kick in, flys in one window and out another before rejoining the group.

Hav'nt done an animation in 10 years and the last one was in DOS and crap.

So bear with me folks.

Good idea to use a character to lead you through the space - and a pretty ambitious one too. I'm really interested to see how this turns out

This has amazing potential but is it a short film or an architectural walkthrough? Maybe removing some of the detail will take away the feeling of a commercial(?)

If you pull this off (and we know you're capable) it'll knock everything else for six.

iain,

you're quite right re: the walkthrough vs. commercial/film thing. i've probably dug myself into that very hole. however, i havn't had time to re-evaluate any of the scenes. i've just had to work with what came out of the initial previews and sketches and wing it from there. there's been a few battles eliminating dodgy sampling while maintaining reasonable render times. this is obvious in some of the frames.

wish i had another week to re-render lots of stuff.

yeah, right...

anyway here's last WIP.

was trying to squeeze animation onto forum but gave up at a really fuzzy 480k so it's pictures instead. soundtrack too as asf in the zip file. the rest is up to your imaginations.
