Greg - what do those render times equate to in seconds? those figures stated in the results dont exactly mean much to me.

Greg... i am running the same motherboard as you (ECS K75SA)on my home computer. my cpu is a athlon thunderbird 1.4ghz. the processor and the motherboard both support a 266 front side bus, but when i change the setting for the motherboard in the bios to 266 my machine will not boot. it booted once for about two minutes with this setting, then crashed. instead i have to run at a 200 front side bus, which knocks my processor down to 1ghz speed wise. i tried contacting ecs about the problem several times (both phone and email), but they have the worse support i have used. i bought the board when it first came out, and i have not tried to flash the bios with an update. i don't want to try that, unless i know it will work. anyway, i was wondering if you had a similar problem, or if yours worked correctly straight out of the box. i know several people on their web board were complaining of a similar problem. i am not to worried about it, since it was only a $60 board, but it would be nice if it worked correctly.

any advice?

ts.

thanks greg.

if memory serves, i am running 2 256 meg sticks of Crucial pc2100. i contacted crucial when i first had the problem, and according to them the ram should run 266 without a problem. of course that was tech support over a phone.

i will try taking a stick out tonight and see if that helps.
