Default Eunice Lee - WIP

The deadline is just a shy of 2 days away and I am on the verge of collapsing.
I am sure most of the competitors are feeling the same way...

But here's my WIP.

I feel your pain. I wonder if anybody has had a chance to use the render farms yet....I was going to tonight but realized I hadn't paid enough attention to the email from Jeff. We are supposed to give him our user names and then he needs to set it up with ResPower before we can use it. I hope its not too late for me.

Now, to your animation...You will obviously have a hard time making it completely full of activity like your still image. One idea is that maybe all the people, cars, etc. have mysteriously vanished except for one man standing in the middle of it all. The camera can start with a closeup of him, circle around while drawing further & further away to reveal the huge city with nothing in it, except maybe a newspaper blowing down the street. An overcast, stormy day would add to the effect of isolation and create a dramatic feeling....Anyways, thats the first thing that came to my mind when I saw your frames.

Out of interest, is the model based on a real area or made up?

I agree with Tim that you can make a virtue of the lack of traffic/people - I'm thinking of the opening sequence of 28 days later or Vanilla Sky..
