Hi guys,
I thought I'd share my 3 last interiors. Rendered with Lightwave, Fprime and Lightscape. I dare you to guess which one is which : ) All on 3500x2480 (A4@300 dpi) for clients. The objects are mostly shared between scenes. Complete setups made in one day from scratch to halfway through the final render at least. Max rendertime for one was 14 hours at the given resolution. Cheers!

the first 2 are blown out to much. ......more than the third one is. in the second image, it is blown out to the point where you can not see the light or even hole for a light on the ceiling. you just see a bright spot. that bright spot makes it feel like poor scanline rendering where a light source is to close to a surface. maybe if you can down the overbright in the first to images, they would match the quality of the third.
also, the view in the second image is a forced cg view. it doesn't feel good (imo). |

Yeah homeless guy you are very right.... The client wanted the full room in view so its a rediculously large lens angle without distortion. Makes it strange.
Image 3 clearly received most attention, Image 1 is still in processing. Image 2 is the LightScape one. Image 1 and 3 both have been rendered with Lightwave and Fprime. Yeas I cheated... : ) I totally agree on the blown out ceiling lights part... But since that was the first, and I spent most attention on 3, I feel I'm getting the hang of it : ) I will redo 1 to lessen the blowouts.
