vray exterior lighting trouble

Having some major trouble with this exterior. Using vray-free and Max 7. Light is a spot, targeted, with vray shadows. Intensity is 3.0. The color seems to wash out as it goes up the tower, not sure how to fix it. Using logarithmic exposure control (same happens with Automatic) Indirect illum. is 1.2 for first bounce (Hsph=75, Interp. samples 40) .75 for second bounce, direct computation. Skylight over ride is on set to .5 multiplier.

try lowering the multiplier of the light. it looks as tho its intendity is burning out the image at the top of the tower. If the light is decaying it won't be as strong lower down the building - as its further from the origin.
