why not? used correctly it's wonderfully fast, accurate and clean meshed.

other than that, any CAD application will do. although you'll have to search out objects like couches and other furnishings.

FormZ is much more accurate, or easier to be accurate, than most 3D packages. It's the best modeler fro arch that I've used.
But anything will do.

Hi,

I’m using SketchUp to make the whole model including interior and exterior walls, door and windows inside SketchUp and than export DXF of it to MAX. I have some problems regarding to the thickness of the walls.

I used to draw a rectangle and use the offset tool to achieve some thickness before extruding, but if I want to apply a window or a door to two layered wall it will make a hole in the glued wall while leaving the other layer solid.

Without using two layered walls everything is ok but when exporting it to Max everything is mess

Thanks
Shay
