Strengths:
The modeling and especially the texturing are detailed throughout the whole image and well done/crafted. He manages to show almost the whole dome in the chosen camera view which supports a sense of spaciousness and gives a good overview. The lighting is well done with nice contrasts and works well with the background image to create an overall atmosphere.

Weaknesses:
Some of the texturing in the foreground looks mapped and distorted. Some objects, like left birds with motion blur seem out of place. Overall the space and structure looks like too much going on in the image, too much use of 'library of ancient Chinese artifacts'. Lack of plants. The project misses the competition brief.

Overall a risky and techincally demanding image that in general works well. But we are not seeing enough of the brief in the rendering. Still we admire the artist shooting for the moon on this one.
