I rented a PT Cruiser (in fact for the last three times in California). I noticed that about 1/8 of the cars in LA were PTs, while about 1/2 cost more than a good yearly salary in our industry (a few probably cost as much as my house). Ah, but my house is worth more with age. Your Aston isn't!

At the hotel while I was waiting for the valets to find my car I saw a new Lotus--curvy little masterpiece in bright yellow. While standing there a guy walked by and asked "is that your Lotus?" "No", I relpied "but I get to stand next to it".

Oh, and some people DO walk in LA. I walked. I walked to Starbucks to get a damned latte, so I wasn't completely bucking cliche.

I walked to the hotel after the party... 5 streets and 6 avenues away... took me about an hour to get there... ow hell...
