Default Show Room - Maxwell

A simple show room. Or an apartment with a car?
It was rendered using the RemoteMatador system ( http://www.arkadin.biz ) on a Sony Vaio, with the fantastic Maxwell rendering engine. 1,5 millions polygons, 25 minutes for each rendering, no Photoshop no post-processing.
20 minutes for the set-up, 10 low resolution test renderings, and...
I'm not joking.

Remote Matador is a 3D software directly connected to a 70 x 3 Ghz cluster. It is absolutly simple to use, very very fast and it is used by two of world's most important architecture studios..

Hmmm... checked out the website but had a hard time figuring out how the pricing works. What exactly does a "credit" buy you there?

dont quite get it....i know its a render farm, and its a 3d software that uses maxwell to render...but....do you model with it?....or you model with max, rhinos, etc ?.....on the tutorials seems too basic to be able to model or even texturing...

ANyways, it looks great.

Hi, the tutorials looks basic because the software is extremly simple. You make the model in your preferred modeling application and then import it into RemoteMatador. You don't need to set-up materials in Remote Matador because it already has a very good shared material library. The Materials you see are standard RemoteMatador Materials. If you want a certain kind of wood you only need to search it in the remote matador library and assign it to your layer with a drag and drop. So you spend one hour work instead 20.
