Question Displacement Problem

Greetings,
I am trying to render some areas of turf with a displacement map added to the material (using MentalRay) and the direction of the displacement is going in the opposite direction (as illustrated in the image). I need it to go up, towards the sky. The normals on the mesh are correct, so I've run out of ideas? Any suggestions? Thanks

Rusty

i dont use mental ray, but try giving the displacement the opposite value that it has now....

If its 20...give it -20......hope it helps.

The setting was at 100! So I dropped it down to like 25 and now it looks good. You can't beat Mental Ray's displacement mapping! Thanks.
