Default snap problem

Hi everybody,

I have a problem with the use of snaps in Max.
The snap to create a mass/ volume of (for example) a box.
I have 3D snap on and I can make a box, but when I hit a Snap (at the third axe) a get a flat rectangle.
This is very $%^&$#%&@##$
It's proberly very simple, but I can't figure it out.

Thanks.

i think so too, the last click snaps on the grid, if you want you can set the snap options and uncheck grid points.

That ain't the problem.
The snap to grid is unchecked, only snap to vertex is active.
Is there a 'hiden' option or something?
I would like to have a solution, because it's very irritating (?)
