Here's a 4 storey Residential Building which I designed, modelled in Max 7
and rendered with Vray 1.46. It's very first Vray exterior render any C & C's are welcome. Thanks!

Light Settings:
I used HDRI, 1 direct Light and 1 Vray dome skylight all shadows in Vray. Trees are RPC and Cars as well. Windows are simply mappings. Frankly i don't know yet how to create a dirt effect for the road. any suggestions?

You mean like using only a Direct Light as the light source, am I right?
and how about the verticals kindly be specific? is it on the structure or lighting? Thanks!

the vertical lines i think they are talking about is the perilax effect of your building as yoiu look up to it. this might work better on a taller building, but if you add the camera correction modifier to the camera (by selecting camera, right click, and add camera correction. ) it will keep the camera at 2-point perspective.
cars look a bit smashed. is it a super wide camera lense? |

Get rid of the fisheye lens! to much curvature along the road and distortion. Try to keep walls vertical by having camera and viewpoint at the same elevation. I am not a fan of buildings that look like they are leaning backwards. Only time this works is with tall building.
Agree with the others on textures. Post again, be nice to see the cleaned up image. Larry |
