nice, only loads of AA issues to resolve. the lighting/mood is all too dull and brown too.
also, geocities doesn't remote link images so they dont show up here. why not use cga's uploader? |

I disagree. Although the lighting is very moody, that's what I like about the images. It's not exactly photo-real because of the lighting. The modelling is wonderfully real though. Nice work.

Nice work! I agree, not photo-realistic, but who's to say that's what you were trying to achieve - they have a very nice feel to them.
Very similar to the Wallace and Gromit! Keep up the good work.

I agree about the 'mood' as being a nice quality.
Only things that bothered me were the blown out areas that Xavier mentioned (don't know about any solutions, never used VRay). I also thought just a tad more ambient light would be nice. The bedroom gives the impression that it is really bright out, but the room is so dark. I do love the brown look, though, it seems to go with the rather quirky rooms. They almost look like paitings you'd see hanging on a wall, like a series. I like that. |

I dun know, i dont see any AA issues. Maybe just me. Could you explain STRAT? TIA. Anyway, i really like the feeling of your renders, gives me a warm comfortable feeling. The modeling and details are great. But like Xavier and Mark have said, a little adjustment to the lighting and they'll be perfect.

I am curious about the AA, too. Rarely do I notice it at all (with maybe mullions on a skyscraper or something like that, with a million parallel lines), but I have not been doing this long enought to really scrutinize things - you have to have the rendering well along just to think about it!
I am sure I could use a few pointers, though. |

Those looks great to me. I see very nice renderings in this forum and critics from masters really improve my rendering knowledge. Thanks all of you..
I saw a lot of very detailed interior renderings . How do you guys model pillows, bed skirts, curtains ? Is there any tutorial or free models? Those elements really changes the environment and make realistic. Chuske or anyone if you can tell how you modeled, that will be great? Thanks again |
