Hi,

I am using MAX 7.5 SP1 and Final Render Stage-1 SP2D and I am having problems with RPCs.

I attached a screenshot, as you can see , the rpc is in the scene is suppose to walk toward the bottom left corner and it works with scanline renderer. However, when rendering using Final Render two things happens:
1- the rpc is facing the opposite direction and it starts on the opposite side of the spine (meaning its facing the top right corner)
2- The RPC does not move at all. Not in position and not in frame-by-frame animation. It just stays still in an animation.

Note: I tried this with different RPC contents and on different machines.

when I add a reguar RPC "say casual people talking in place" the final render animation doesnt move at all. It just shows one frame during the whole animation.

try using max 7 or get the rpc plugin update for max 7.5

Where do I get the RPC plugin update for Max 7.5

I couldnt find it on their website (www.archvision.com)

and besides, RPC works ok with 7.5 scanline. Its just when I use final Render it gives problems.

yes, i had the same problem, you need RpcAutodeskDiscreet plug-in, here it is, with it animated rpc works fine with Final Render...here is the link
