Default slow rendering

Hi guys,
I need to know bout proper system reqiurements for vray cuz having trouble waiting to render one single image, Pls advice .....cant wait to loonnnggg

post your current specs, type of render, materials, subdivs, reflections, glosiness, settings.........the list could go on forever!

we need to know more of this in order to help you

Hi ,
Tx for the reply....ok specs are pentium 4 ,2.4 ghz,500+ ram ,500+invia geforce graph card...
Now for the the settings...Its exterior and i on the the GI,IR, secondary bounce to be .8 somethi.Just need to know should i upgrade my system?>...

its a bit of an opened ended question is that?

upgrading your system will give you quicker renders etc but are you struggling with the machine you have?

if up grading i reckonmend the AMD dual cores and a at least 2gb of ram

did u ever worked with any other GI renders, like mental ray or brazil,,

look friend, GI cant render fast as scanline,,, sure it ll take time,, a faster machine can reduce the time but dont think it can make it as fast as u do with scanline,
