lightscape animation

Hi,
I'm going to create an animation in lightscape wich will be seen on a tv set. Can you suggest:
wich resolution for the frames
wich software to assembly the frames

render to TIFF

render to secuence of tga with alpha selected for further composite, there is two resolutions for tv: fisrt 720X486 this is normal and works fine and 720X540 for square pixels, i use after efects cause give me more interaction with adding text and efects but adobe premier is easier to use.

BTW each frame of tga sizes about 1mb so have a good storage.
