Royalty Free Music?

Hey guys,

I've finished a 3 minute animation for a client and they're requestion some of that cheesy music to go with it...yet I cant seem to find anything FREE.

Anyone know a URL or location of some decent royalty free/public domain music?

Premiere comes with a cheesy/canned music generating app. Do you have a copy of Premiere?

There are a couple of music generating applications like ejay or something. I think codemasters had a very very easy piece of software that did good clips. I have bought some cds with royalty free music especially composed to be used as a background music. But since you have to buy those cds, it is not free either...

id be interested in hearing who has good and "affordable" royalty free background music.

Also I think there are free loops at www.flashkit.com

It's called SmartSound QuickTracks, it was sold with my Premiere 6.0 See if yours has it.

another site like this is www.videohelper.com

you can go to their, and licence a track. if i remember right, on thier site, you can distribute the animation with the licensed audio around 1000 times for around $65. this fee can be directly billed to the client as a itemized item on your proposal or additional service fee. when you purchase the license, you purchase it knowing they are going to be the ones distributing it, so i guess you would have to be careful on how they are distributing it.

....another possibility might be to search old archives at www.archive.org, and see if you can find a public domain track. granted you won't find anything recent that is public domain.
