For question 3, what is considered a major city?
BTW, I will be passing this along to lots of people I know! Any way to check the count on respondents?

Well when I put this question in I contemplated putting a number, like 1 million, but then I got thinking, how big is a major city. I left it up to people's discression as to what they consider a major city. I'm not putting a lot of weight on this question, so I'm really not too concerned. A major city in China for example might be significantly bigger than one in Nebraska. It's all relative.

Jeff I just wanted to thank you for putting this together and doing such a great job with it. I've posted a link over at the Maxwell forum so hopefully we will reach that magic number of 2000 by the end of this weekend! Just curious but are you going to publish the info as soon as you reach 2000 and just update the survey results as more people vote?

Thanks.

2000 is a number I estimated would be a good sample to ensure I cover as many of the world's professionals as possible. I need 2000 surveys that are 100% complete (not all people finish the survey for some reason). Once I get 2000 I'll review the results and see if that gives me a good sample. If it does, it will likely take me a week to analyze and compile the results and put together a PDF report. As of this post we are only about 45% of the way there, so I need as many people to get this around as possible. It definetly will not be released before we hit 2000. If there are local groups, website that deal with CG or Arch CG, please post this survey so as many people see it as possible,

I won't be allowing it to run indefinetly as it costs me money for each collected survey becuase I am using a survey service company. Between the salary survey and industry survey it will cost about $200-300, so I want to limit my expense at some point.
