Hey thanks-

For getting back with me. What is a PM. I am not sure what you mean. I am new to this forum, so I have to figure out how to upload things here for viewing.

Do you know how to do that, and can you show me. Again I am new at both programs. I like SketchUp a lot but I get lost at how to do certain thing with the tools.

Lets say I created a rectangular shape right, and I wanted to carve a curve in the upper corner. How would you go about do so in SketchUp.

Another major issue I have, are the Layers. How do they work in SketchUp. I try going about them like layers would work in other programs, I get no where. I also purchased the DVD tutorial from "Go-to-School" they did not cover the layers at all, nor does it covers carving out corners to make a shape.
