Default House near the Scottish Highlands

Well, me comming from the worlds most flat country it was a challange creating an impression for a client in Scotland. Not only was the terrain sloping all angles, but also the house was quit enormous. Strange enough I dont like the front view of the house so much because its just too big. The entrace side is what is selling the house. Not because of the house but because of the view, its really a great spot.

Tried to play with the incomming light and perspective to enhance the quality of the landscape / view.

Me being totaly new to everyting older than max3 this was a major task to complete on time. Please give me your comments and tips how to improve working with this complex software...

Thanks
Ronald

Default Re: House near the Scottish Highlands

not too bad, just nees to work on your lighting. I like the warm sun light, but you still need to make the shadows cooler. Play up the overcast nature of the backround. Keep the shadows very soft. There is potential in this render, just work on the mood and it will be a winner.

Check the scale of the people, they look a little too large.

Possible move the camera to the right to get to see the drop off and view more. If its the view that is selling the house then show it.

Getting there
