Yeah when I had to come up with a way of grouping the countries it was difficult to do, so I divided it by how the UN divides it's regions of the world. Unfourtnuately this sometimes means first and second world contries are grouped together which is not always ideal. The same thing happens with the US state regions too. Ideally I would have been able to do it by city, but there just aren't enough people who are willing to participate to ensure a large enough sample in the various regions.

So, I expected that most would be able to do exactly what you suggested and create some educated estimates based on local experience.

Jeff- If I purchase the raw data, will it allow me to see what salaries people are receiving compared to how many years experience they have? It may already be in the pdf and I just didn't see it.

By the way, good job with the survery. It's quite interesting to see the data.

Yes. You will be able to apply a filter for example that would tell you how many people fell into each salary range in Georgia with any of the following years of experience groupings:

1-2
3-4
5-6
7-8
9-10
11-12
13-14
15-16
16+


BTW, 17 people in Georgia answered the salary portion of the survey.

Thanks for the great effort, Jeff. This data will come in very handy as the company I am currently with has been struggling to find relevant salary data for the last couple months. I will definitely be purchasing the extended data - quite reasonable when compared to other resources!

That's good to hear. We're looking to hire a couple people, and this way I'll know how much they should be asking for.

Wow!!! I'm very impress and happy with the amount of work and how it turn out...
I think this will help a lot of people
(I was surprice to see Delaware in the South Altantic rather that Middle Atlantic... but it's the first time I see it that way )

How much is the raw data?

The divisions were based on how the US divides the states for Census informaton.

The raw data access is $29/6months

This is the same data/survey that will be combined in the new "3D World" magazine, july issue, correct? And if so, has any received that issue yet in the US?
