Time wasn't on my side on the previous challenge...hoping to finish this time...here's my WIP. Still working on my textures so don't mind the water and the terrain yet
I am planning to approach from another angle and much closer to the structure but until now i am still moving my camera to catch a more interesting composition. still a lot more work to do c&c's are welcome

I loved your style last time and I love it now! It is interesting approach, remind me of - uh do not know the word - light mark for the ships... Looks very romantic and sky is realy sweet... Terrain is not bad at all... Only water spoils it a bit, and you got lot of it, real seascape so my advise would be to focus on that and... hurry up, finish this one, start rendering final image 3-4 days before deadline...
Good luck! |

I just think you got very god style, some warm and pleasent feeling rise from all your images and you got good mood here, so do not waste too much time looking for better angles. Go for two angles and soon choose only one. Perhaps it would be interesting to get more close, like looking from the structure to the sea...something like that came to me looking your WIP...

Now, this one got better highlits and it is much more dramatic. Great mood and great sky!
It would be easier for you to set the water, but I miss here that join of structure, stones and water you had in last wip... Than again, you got potential to work on foreground much more... If you could show a bit of that touch between water and ground in this, perhaps change the angle just a bit... it would be pitty to loose that connection between foreground and background... Sorry if I give you conffusion... Last edited by d.sign; May 5th, 2006 at 04:44 AM. |
