Default Branko Jovanovic - Final

Well, for me time is up little earlier...
Here is my final, new architectural concept, changed everything... though, style is still close to the previous (but better I hope)...

Modelling: Clean but a bit simple. It would be nice to see some more glass detail, frames, bolts etc. Your curved glass is a bit unrealistic, it would probably be faceted. The external landscape is well modelled and looks good.

Lighting: A bit bland. The hazey effect doesnt really help. there needs to be more contrast, stronger light, maybe varing the hues and colours.

Composition: Nothing special. Building is framed well, but there is no dynamic element involved.

Overall the model is clean, but lacking detail. the image is well put together, but it really lacks the wow factor. The glass on the dome is not very well realised, lack of reflectivity, it looks dull.

The composition works but needs more focus through the lighting perhaps. The yellow colour cast is a little strange, but the building sits in its environment well. I think that with more detail in the glazing and a but of reflection and contrast this would start to sing.

M/T: The glass is flat and the dome is uninteresting. The cloud also takes away from the image.
L: The lower right has a good contrast and lighting however as you move up the image the lighting gets weaker.
Comp: The compositon of the water forcing your eye towards the dome is successful.
C/O: The image is nicely tropical.
U: Overall flat and the people don't lead your eye around the page.
B: You followed the directions nicely.

The modeling is decently done, but the design borders on simplistic rather than simple. A very nice job intergrating the lighting and color of the water and the dome. The foreground is well done, we like the bridge, but the sky needs some work, and should coordinate more with the water and the dome. Overall the image works well, but it is not tremendously compelling – If the dome had more detail in it like the foreground, then the image would work better.
