Question Lighting Simulation research

Im Doing An Aplication Research on Lighting Simulation
and I need a tool for:
1-Developing realistic rendering
2-Lighting Studies (Illumination Distribution) Charts OR images (lab results) .
I am using Vray for my Professional REnderings And Presentations and i think that it Irrelevant in this research for the lighting lab Results. i ve seen some previous research most of them where using lightscape. i never used it before.so i need some guidance.
-my time is tight do u recommend that i do these test renders my self or using a pro is more convenient as inever used light scape be4 ?

lightscape is "more or LESS" integrated into max8 radiosity. you have nearly the same lighting analysis tools as in lightscape.
simply setup your scene with architectrual materials and let a radiosity calculation start. the most important fact are phyically based materials, it will work best when you use architectrual materials.

I'd recommend getting a pro to do the work for you unless you are very good at learning a new app relatively fast. This is especially true if you want good reliable data, radiosity can be tricky.
