thanks everone The Past Or The Future? The concept of the dome is to provide visitors a pause to reflect the human past and think of the future. Everybody may have very individual and different views. With this image, I try to create a place where visitors lose their time reference. Are they in an archaeological site that has existed for thousands of years? Or, does the time-machine bring them to the future where they can see what human beings really need? The image is not to deliver an answer, but open a space for everyone to think. |

Modelling: The dome is ok, but the landscape, which takes a big part of your image really lets it down. It needs better mapping and more detail. The water, a critical part, is also not great, it looks too oily.
Lighting: An interesting idea, but the detail inside the dome is all blown out. The lense flares are a big no, used in the right place they can be an enhancement, unfortunatly here they just stand out too much. Also the sky is too dark. In general the sky will always be lighter than the ground. Composition: the angle of the composition is a little strange. The planting looks off, and the balance of colours and contrast is also wrong. Overall, a lot going on in the image, but its not all tied together. There are too many ideas, too many focal points and not enough sense of unity.

Loads of detail! The depth cueing is not working - the foreground elements should have the most contrast - but your building is darker than the foreground. I think the limestone rock strata are throwing your perspective and also distracting the eye in too many directions. If you have this much detail then you need to make each element direct the eye around the picture to the parts you want to focus on.

M/T: Nice detail in modeling and texturing
L: The lighting is flat and in some areas it is blurred and in some areas it is sharp-which is confusing Comp: The composition makes the dome seem like it is sinking into the water. C/O: This is creative and technically well done. U: The image is unified B: We wish you included the bridge |

A lot of work here on the dome, and we applaud the work that has gone into this. A couple of technical comments – The lens flare should be eliminated, as it is a big distraction. Also you should tone done the level of detail in the foreground rocks. The coloring of the water and the sky is a bit of a disconnect. The highlights on the glass of the dome on the left are too extreme. We like the amount of detail inside the dome – it gives it a life that other renderings lack. With the exception of the water/sky issues, we like the use of color in this rendering. Also we appreciate the design approach to this and the previous interior rendering. A place we’re interested in visiting.
