LCD vs Projection

I found a decent 42" projection TV from Sony for $1500 and 42" LCD from Sony for $2300 (from the same place, DeSears). They both have the same resolution, both have a built in tuner, and pretty much look like they have the same options. I don't know a lot about TVs, so can anyone tell me why the LCD costs so much more? I don't see any difference in the picture quality.

Its all about footprint, projection TV's have a huge footprint (they're huge and bulky)
And LCD Tv's can just be hung on the wall like a picture...
