I typically buy my copy at the local borders. It will probably be another week or two before they get it based on past months.

I bought a copy today.
You get the usual Magazine plus a seperate mag, for the arch viz, lots of ads from the big companies that do all the worlds top stuff, and then the survey, about 8 pages and then some lovely pics that you have seen a hundred times before on their websites.

I have a serious problem with paying over 10 euros for a maz full of ads, there are 8 pages advertiseing a web hosting company???????
I'm sick to the teeth of it, only there is nowere else to go for the latest news.

In a nut shell the best mag this year but way too many adds as usual, and nothing i have not already read on cgarchitect, cgchannel, or evermotion.............

why I buy it i don't know.

Thanks for the reply Phil. I hate all the ads too. Especially since the ads are supposed to keep the cost of the magazine down. It's not out yet in the US so I'll just have to wait a little.

I guess I could always be one of those creppy guys who just sits there in the book store and reads it but never buys it.

Who you like in the World Cup?

Like to see the USA do well, but the group is tough. PLus nobody up front for us other than McBride. The Chech game will be the desider if we beat them we will go on. (Probably to face Brazil) I think we will play Italy tight, but they have too much talent and depth. Gahana is a walkover.

The Czech Republic are 2nd on the FIFA world rankings & rightly so with Chelsea's Petr Cech - a very tough game. Ghana are 48th - they may surprise you.

3 Lions to win.

ps. Must remember to pick up 3D World this weekend
