Your so right Jeff, yep there's just something about it hey?
Well glad I got it going eventually, was worth the effort, and thanks 'djmj'for all the posting on the registry stuff; thankfully not on 64 bit so didn't have to go through that, I admire your dedication to getting it up and runnng though.
For me it was just as simple as having installed it but then after, changing it to run as administrator, but then having to re-authorize it.
