Hello,
I have a question about file linking an ADT file to max. In ADT I made some AEC windows, I file linked the file in max. But my problem now is that when I want to select the frame of that window to put some kind of material on, I get the hole window (frame+glass)... so it acts like a block. Is there a way to file link AEC windows/doors/railings so that you can select the elements seperatly? Greetings |

There's an option when you link the dwg under the advanced tab, that says "create one scene object for each ADT object" if you uncheck that, you'll get the different components.
