Excuse my idiocy; I have been asked to do an animation of a building being built; kinda of brick by brick with layers turning on as the scene rotates. Can anyone tell me the name of this type of animation; just to get a few looks at a couple before digging into my own.
Thanks |

personally its a bum itcher..... I'm working on one right now.... as for what you'd call it, I refer to it as a construction animation, or a progression animation. Is that what you were after?

There's a plug in for 3dsmax that might help in what you're up to called "Grow" from digimation. http://www.pluginz.com/product/10110?from=rlist
If you go to digimations site it looks like there may be a demo available as well for registered members IGD |
