save down a version

need to save a scene I am working on in Max 8 to Max7 to bring over to a meeting tonight. any ideas on how I should do it?

export as 3ds, and re-import in max 7

You're looking for the Holly Grail here, mate. Do as Ihab said or export is as OBJ.

there was a script which helped me sometimes in the past ...some BOBo

its here http://www.scriptspot.com/bobo/darkmoon/bff/ .... as the disclaimer says ... it may or may not work.... but no harm in trying ..
