Well, that would sure be nice wouldn't it! I know it's such a simple matter in Form-Z and it really adds a lot of realizm being able to see elongated highlights on the corners like that. I mean, virtually any corner is rounded even if just a little bit, but alas, in Viz or Max it's just more work than it's worth. You can chamfer corners by selecting the edges in mesh sub-object and adding a chamfer distance in the edit geometry options, then chamfer again untill it looks rounded, but that doesn't work that well especially where you have two rounded edges coming together. The only other thing I could possibly suggest is getting the power-solids plug in. It allows you to do exactly what you are asking but I'm not sure what the requirements on the geometry are because I haven't used it much at all. At siggraph 2002 I asked a discreet rep to show me how to do this and he couldn't so I don't think I've over looked anything, but If I have, someone please let us know! Good luck to you and tell discreet/autodesk how usefull this would be to us all. (not that that does any good though)
