On the compositing aspect, I would love to see a seminar that covers compositing a still as opposed to animation from components. (diffuse, shadow, reflection, etc.....) Showing the benefits and controls you would recieve from breaking apart an image into such a workflow.

On the other hand if you do have a section covering compositing for animation, I would prefer to see someone from neoscape, spine3d, or uniform, give an presentation about one of their productions that is more aimed towards architectural visualization.

Vlad Bina's presentation last year on advanced visualization, was directed more towards the movie industry not the design industry..... most of it went straight over my head (yes I realized advanced was in the title), but I walked away from the short 15 min presentation grasping about 5% of what was just presented to me, and although I did see a lot of cool stuff, I don't foresee any of it being incorporated into my workflow anytime in the near future.

I do enjoy seeing the aspects of the movie industry and how we can learn and gain from their workings..... but the other concurrent sessions that were held during that part of the DMVC last year were design based (sketchup and BIM/Revit) so I had assumed that vlad's presentation was going to be as well.
