I was just reading here that viz 8 will only support 4 cores or 4 processors... Some say it runs fine under XP x64 but the only person quoting that was a mac rig user with x64 (??). I'm looking at an upgrade from VIZ 2005 at the moment but this whole subject gives me pause.

a. is it true that Viz 2008 will only run one core under x64?
b. if your tied to x32 to take advantage of the Q6600 what is the best way to get the most out of the ram limit on an x32 rig?
