It's a bit unfair to imply that Autodesk is doing it to extort more money. Obviously it's a business that should try to make the best profit it can while providing a great product. And it really shouldn't come as a surprise, because it's what so many of us have been asking for a long time. I never saw the sense in maintaining 2 separate programs that basically did the same thing.
