Great render in the sence of quality, but the Accessories need some help, the picture over the tv, I thought it was the tv, and then noticed the tv below, maybe instead of a picture, you might use some kind of wall sculpture, simple geometric blocks or something, the space is very modern, and the Accessories should reflect that also, so the same goes for the greek statue, maybe replace that with something abstract, and the picture of the guy,(is that you) maybe replace that with an abstract also, its a little to large for a family photo, and lose the plaid placemat on the table...great job though

Hi Bernhard,
nice render, would you mind sharing how you did the rug? It was a vray displacement right? I've tried it before but cant make it look good. good job!

Hello friends !
Well, the image isn´t perfect, there are many things I could change and doing better. Some things I would prefer to change. @) The tree - it´s not 3d @) Antialiasing - could get higher @) Glow Effect - a little bit to much @) Final Render - could use a higher resolution and general higher settings to avoid some noise @) Outdoor - I think real 3D geometry would be the best, here I used a simply plane and mapped a image ... grrr..... @) Glossy - Higher settings for that ------------------------------------------------ @) manta: yep, share that with you.... @) carlangas: the rug was made with vray fur, very simply no displacements. @ smighty: rendertime for the final 800x600: 5 hours But recoginze my Hardware: 1,6 GHZ CPU, 512 MB RAM this was the main reason, why I didn´t choose higher settings and all the other points I described above, like for the outdoor real 3d geometry, or for the tree, etc.... Of course I could use vray-proxys... but I am honest, I was to lazy... lol; thx for all you kind words, bernhard p.s: And special thx to my special friend Michael Seidl ! |
