Default Re: Uniform's New Film - Atria

I didn't know anyone had seen it either!

Like Mike said it was a quickER job than some of the bigger budget films we've been creating in and around London etc but none the less it all came together great in the end and fits nicely into the marketing for the scheme.

The concept was to show key areas inside the building but not to follow the standard 'fly-through' approach. Instead, we wanted to take the great colour palette from the interior designers, mix it up with the strong graphic logo and create a journey that engages and excites. I reckon we did that pretty well.

It was all modelled in Max and rendered with Vray then comped together and graphics/post work added with After Effects.

We used Max2AE to get our Max cameras and location data for all the 2D type in After Effects to sit it nicely into the rendered footage. The stylised 'transition' furniture was a mix of dirt, semi-transparent and self illuminated passes and we used RPManager to manage the huge number of passes that made up the film.

The 'lines' we used as a vehicle to guide us through the film, made use of an animated Path Deform modifier.

Glad you all liked it. Keep checking back to our site for the next film. It's a good one...!
