Lightbulb Vray Reflection Problem

Hi Guy's,

I have been recently working in spare time on personal project testing light and hdri reflections.
Now at work we have both version of vray 1.5 rc2 and 1.47,
I have got myself stuck without any conclusion regarding the differences in reflection with both versions.
All the material setting are the same, render settings are the same light setup is also the same on both renders.
Notice jaggedy edges with vray 1.5 rc2 on the left side of the speaker,
where with 1.47 there are hardly any.
I have tried to mess with interpolation settings in the material rollout, no results, checked antialiasing with several different settings, still that's no the problem. Have tried several different gi engines and no reluslts.
This is strange I can not eliminate the jaggedy edges in vray 1.5,
Anyone got any ideas regarding this issue that would be great.

Hope someone can help

Thanks

Andrew

Thank you for your quick answer,
I will check this out asap, just wondering why in vray 1.47 this was not an issue and here in 1.5 I have to check sub-pixel mapping...

Thanks !

Andrew

well i dont know why they made it a separate option coz i switch it on all the time .. supposedly that option was always "on" in 1.47

from the help manual
"In V-Ray 1.5, the default value for both the Subpixel mapping and Clamp output options is off. While this produces more correct renderings, you may get isolated bright dots caused by reflective or refractive caustics that did not appear with previous versions. To avoid these, you should turn both options on."
