there r so many reasons.. depends on ur scene setup
1) if u r using very high res. texture.. reduce there file size in photoshop and then use.. using very hires texture makes sftwre runin out of memory 2) if u r using caustics.. try rendering wthout caustics 3) if using light cache then check sample size..use screen n not world.. if world then try using sample s ize >1 4)if ir map.. try rendering scene wth low preset. best of luck prateek |

I experienced same problems before, usually I just had to take hires images to photoshop and scale them down, as suggested. Having a 4K texture for wooden floor would just cause trouble if a 2K render with a partial view of the floor is what you are after. Jpgs may be small sized (in Kb terms) but they are decompressed once loaded and flood the system.

How to check which bitmap is causing problem
because everytime each gives error for a different object with a different bitmap how to handle such a scene which has same copy of a villa x 300 times? I always used instance but instances also give this kind of memory error. Also copying things slow down the viewport even if i am using a 256 mb PCI express in my system Any suggestions Thanks |

I am using QMC already using Vray proxy now after so much wrk and texturing is looking a bit difficult to me Is there any way by which , when converting the villa into a proxy object, it should automatically creat a multisubobject material on its own taking into account all the different materials that are applied to it. Will windows x 64 actually solve the problem? I know you mentioned this already on this forum but does it actually works? thanks |
