Default Memory usage

Heres a screenshot of memory usage while processing in Lightscape.
I have 1 GB of RAM and its only using 487 MB.
Is it possible to bost this up,to use more memory and get faster, or is this normal?

Are you using LSCAPE (GUI) or LSRAD? By nature the LSRAD will handle your solution processing a lot faster than LSCAPE. For us old timers, we got inot the habit of using LSCAPE only for 'Preparation' stage and do all the brute force 'Solution' processing in LSRAD. BTW windows will never utilize 100% of your RAM, it will always have some stuff stored to HD so a PROGRAm will always utilize LESS RAM than you have.
