Ernesto, i've been following modo for a while now and am still 50/50 on whether to adopt it as a modelling tool. i can now model pretty much what i need directly in max (something which took a while to learn as i relied on import of cad models/drawings).

if i now start to use modo, i would have to learn its own set of workarounds for accurate modelling. i have tried the demo and have noted that the program crashes quite a bit as soon as i try to use the snaps/guides. even when it doesn't crash, these tools don't seem to work with any kind of consistency. this is a shame as i really love the modelling tools and the very direct modelling approach.

do you use snaps/guides? and do you know of any tuts that go through them in some detail?

do you model by eye/import cad/ have an 'accuracy' workflow that you'd like to share?
