Default curved edges

I know this particular image isn't an arch viz type render, but I'm just trying to work on learning more about modeling in max. In this image, my main concern is how to make the edges curve nice and smooth? I've chamfered the edges a number of times, but you can clearly see the subdivisons. Is there a better way to create smooth curved edges? Thanks.

From the looks of it u just gotta select all the polygons, go to 'polygon properties' and click on the autosmooth button (under smoothing groups). this will smoothen out the object without adding any faces.

Thumbs up Re: curved edges

or you can add turbosmooth modifier to your model if it has proper divisions.

add a 'smooth' modifier. Always meshsmooth as well but i dont find that as good - too powerful :P

Thanks Bijoy, autosmooth worked great! I tried the turbo smooth earlier and also the mesh smooth. TS was too drastic with only 1 iteration so that didn't work too well. The mesh smooth worked a little, but the autosmooth really seemed to be what I needed.
