Open your material editor
get your a&d material slot 'ready'
open a 'blank' generic (non-A&D slot next to it)
click the diffuse colour to enter the RGB values in the blank generic slot
ok - the colour is now set.
right-click the diffuse colour and then pick copy
click and select the A&D shader material slot
right-click on the COLOUR slot under the MAIN MATERIAL PARAMETERS rollout at the top and select paste
